All proceeds will benefit The Newtown Rotary Club, which in turn benefits the surronding community. Newtown Rotary is a Non-Profit club that uses donations for various charities throughout the year, both locally and internationally.
Some examples of the work we do throughout the year:
· Sponsor our local Arbor Day
· Yearly Spring and Fall Road Cleanups
· Yearly Spring and Fall Food Drives for the local food bank
· A 9/11 luminary drive and a memorial service for those lost from Bucks Co.
· Sponsor of Shop with a Cop, that helps deserving children afford a better Christmas.
· Pedals for Progress- putting refurbished bikes and sewing machines into the hands of those in third world countries, and literally changing their lives.
· Angel Tree- working with local social workers to help students and families within our school system have a nice Christmas and get the necessities they need.
· Ukrainian refugee support: we have many displaced refugees in our school system. We worked to set them up with backpacks and school supplies, hosted a community picnic so they could all meet for moral and emotional support, and have a stockpile of donated gift cards for when emergency needs arise.
